Check tire pressures and measure the actual difference in rolling circumference. A way to get an approximate difference is to observe (take pictures) the different rotation of the inflation valves after rolling your car 10 to 20 meter. (Wheels make a full turn every 2 meters. So at 1% difference the wheels rotation should not be more that about 17 degrees different when driving 10 meter. 35 degrees over 20 meter.) Some reports seem to point to DSC problems from softer tire walls. My car (delivered with non-RFT staggered summer tires) has shown no problem with non-RFT (squared) winter tires, but they all are (*)-marked. |

After writing post I have raised my pressure (from 2.4 to 2.7), gone to settings once again, check all and stored new pressure. Seems to be better now, but still finds it "laggy" sometimes. Maybe it is because tire is brand new and still feels silky on top. |

UPDATE:
I have driven almost 1000kms since my last post. My problem is gone. I have put 2.9 bar in my tires (summer tires was also on that pressue) and now all is good. No DSC light anymore. So new Conti 8S without star can be used with xDrive. 👍 |
