What's driving Audi to offer such a lease?
It’s an Audi…lol
Overpriced and need to move the metal

The car looks great with Taycan heritage (J1 platform) underneath. Again - congrats!

I’m a huge BMW fanboi, but this was just too good a deal to pass up. Plus I was sort of itching to unload both my purchased EVs, my wife’s ID.4 we got rid of a couple of months ago for her iX, and now my i4. I wanted to get back into leasing given the crazy depreciation on these BEVs. Wish me luck, but now when I’m here on BP, I’ll be mostly on the iX subforum, but talk about crickets! Lol
I hope you have much less issues with your new RS E-Tron than the brother has had with his Taycan 4S, the media system in that car is crap and I would imagine the Audi is based on the same system.

I was close to pulling the trigger on a used Taycan 4S, but opted to wait 10 months for the new M50 and I don't regret it. The Taycan has had many nagging issues and the eTron is essentially the same car.

The Audi RS eTron looks better but overall, the M50 is a way better product. In terms of the OEM luxury EV market, BMW is ahead of Porsche, Audi and Benz.... and it will only get better once the bespoke platform EVs arrive on the market.

Still going strong…thus far, only recall has been the recent 240v portable charger that can overheat depending on where you plug it in, but rumor has it maybe Audi will send affected owners a $500 gc…effectively lowering this insane lease deal that much more LOL!! I’ve had a hardwired CPF for over a year now, so I don’t need/use the portable cable.

A couple of shots from a CC last month:
