I now remember I had spec'd my car with this feature. I just took a look at the sticker and the feature is NOT itemized on there. No idea why. What's weirder is the fact that the ConnectedDrive store presents me with the option of purchasing this feature.

I tested it today and I'm able to pre-ventilate the car remotely and can set a schedule from both my phone and the settings on iDrive. If I hadn't remembered spec'ing my car with this feature I would have erroneously purchased it. Weird.

Pre-ventilation does not start the engine. It only turns the fans on.

I have this option on my car and it shows on the window sticker. In addition, I don't see it showing up as being available to add in the ConnectedDrive store (which makes sense, since I already have it). Makes me think somehow you don't have it even though you spec'd it?

I got it but it wont do max ac even if thats the last setting. anyone else have this problem? it will turn the ac on what my previous ac setting was though.🤔

I had the same issue for multiple days in a row. I cleared out my stored payment credit card and switched from a mac to a windows laptop and it worked. Not sure which was the issue but one of those two things fixed it for me.

Just finished.

Used a Windows edge browser and had no issues.

Software downloaded, updated and it works. App is still wonky but that's the case from time to time.

I ended up purchasing it.
