Water in my floor speaker (m340i) HELP!!!
I was driving home last night and had a water bottle on the floor (passenger side). The top wasn't totally closed and when I got home I noticed the floor was wet. It looked like the speaker might have gotten some water too. This morning when I drove to work, I could here the water making a gargling sound from that speaker. I know there's water inside of it, so much that I can here it when the volume gets loud enough. My questions are is this something to worry about? and how do I fix it? Please help! TIA

If the speaker is damaged the only solution would be replacing the speaker...
I'd let it dry out though and see if you still have issues. I'd assume they thought about this during development of the car. |

I hope so too. They would of had to predicted this happening. The location of the speaker is terrible. I don't even know if I can, but do you think I should try to take the speaker apart? Do I have to take it to a dealership?
