Both the Porsche and the Audi are stunning, but I think if you take looks into consideration, I believe Audi has the edge here. Great to see some EVs to finally get excited about.

I think Audi is taking the Black Optics Package too far though. In person the car is imposing, but the front grill being blacked out reminds me of a mask or car bra and clashes too much with certain colors. It can be optioned without the BO package, however a lot of the desirable options require it. Just a bit too much.

Also this is nit picking, but the armrest is too far back meaning you can't rest you elbow against it comfortably while having your hand at 4-o'clock on the wheel. A small but daily annoyance.

Not sure if I prefer this or the curvaceous Taycan.

Saw one at the local cars and coffee on Saturday. It is better looking in person than in the pics. Very appealing. The one I saw was dark gray so the contrast with the black grille wasn't as pronounced as on the white car in stein's pics

Most VAG armrests slide forward, did you test it? I'd prefer they just had longer armrests, but the sliding thing works fine in our Audi.

No sliding armrest in this model. The center console prioritizes cup holders.

I went and looked at one yesterday as my boss was interested - not a fan. Stock ride height is horrendous. Interior is mediocre for the price point and very tight in my opinion - not like I'm a huge guy either 5'10" 180lbs. Rear is too bulky and seems out of place. The RS7 looks so much better and is much more comfortable as far as the interior goes - and yes I am aware they are different size cars. One thing that really bothered me is when you go to open the door it seems like the electronics get in the way or aren't timed correctly - it almost gets stuck.

Some more in person pics I got of the GT in Tango Red. Still a bit disappointed in how the car looks in person, definitely team Taycan now.

The profile of this car looks suspiciously like it's Stuttgart cousin....
