Armaspeed forged carbon fiber strut bar

ARMASPEED FORGED CARBON FIBER STRUT BAR

◆ Toyota Supra A90/A91
◆ BMW 3 Series G20/G21 320i/330i/M340i

Compared with universal metal aftermarket, ARMASPEED strut bars are made of forged carbon fiber (Forged Composite) instead. In the P20HH impact-resistant and high-stiffness SMC special mold, the object is directly formed by high pressure and heat. Spot welding on metal aftermarket would cause uneven stress distribution; ARMASPEED one-piece formed Strut Bar can suppress vibration more.

※This product is now available to order.

◆ BMW 3 Series G20/G21 strut bars can go with a 3K/forged carbon fiber radiator cooling plate

I thought it would only fit with an aftermarket intake.

That’s the nice part. You don’t have to buy an intake in order to use these or other cross braces.

Armaspeed contacted me and it sounds like you may need a spacer. They didn't have any pictures though.

Sorry for the late reply. The passenger side bar makes contact with the intake lid. I bought a spacer but then the bolt is not log enough for the nut at the bottom to have enough thread to be secure.

Decided to just install it anyway.

A 1/4" spacer might work. The ones I bought were 1/2" thick. It definitely cleared with the ones I had but as mentioned the bolt length.

Dumb question, but are you guys doing this purely for looks or do you expect to notice much of a difference?

Mostly looks. I understand there's minimal to no performance gains.

How's steering/suspension after installation?
