Hi, i had this error as well, but recently i had floids changed for my transfer case. After clearing the error it did not come back. I don’t know if the error eas there before the transfer case service, but i doubt it.

Did a gearbox ZF pan and fluid change and it did solve my problem.
The last time it has been done not correctly I guess, not enough fluid in gearbox or something.
Now it shifts very soft, no more strange noises when making a sharp turn.
Still strange the fault was transfer case flexray when it has nothing to do with transfer case.

what milage of your car at transmission fluid change to fix the problem if you don't mind sharing?

This code only appears on bimmerlink. I’ve chalked it up to a weird phantom code within BL. Running a system scan via ISTA or DTC check via BimmerUtility shows no codes.
