Ok, I guess that means mine has another 4-5 weeks hanging out at the plant. I hope the Exec's kids using it for Prom are respectful of it's future owner....no backseat action please kids!!

I called genius line a couple days ago for the hell of it just to see if a different person had something to say about the situation and he sounded genuinely surprised when he saw the car has been stuck in QC since Nov 4. He said to have my CA put in a request for a formal inquiry and that BMW N.A. would look into it and get back to the dealership with information. Just to make sure I ask the genius “So the inquiry request is a “thing” so my CA and the dealership should know about it and how to do it, right?” He said yes.

I asked my CA and he doesn’t know anything about it. Neither does their resident genius or GM. Anybody know of such a thing? Or similar?

I would like to extend my encouragement and sympathy to all of you who are currently stuck in Quality Check Purgatory (AKA Recurring Groundhog Day). Our M340xi left Quality Check Purgatory on December 9 after a 5-week stay and began its voyage across the pond on December 29. It arrived in Brunswick, GA on January 12, and after a 2-week stay its one work order is closed and we're waiting for a truck to pick it up. It's been over 5 months since we ordered the car on August 16. We're hoping to take delivery next week and the perfect day would be Wednesday, February 2nd:
