I did a normal snow foam and wash followed by a surface prep using Q2M PREP. Then used Turtle Ceramic spray coating. It took about 4 hrs in all but very pleased.

Should I just swap chrome parts with black?

I think if you're going with that spoiler you pretty much have to black out the chrome parts. Otherwise it just looks a bit awkward IMO.

So is this a temp ceramic coating then? Real ceramic coatings lady anywhere from 1 years to 5+ depending on the product etc

I guess it is as it lasts 6 to 12 months however the cost is very low

There's something to be said about the ease of use for these products as well! Great protection and great shine, they just need to be applied a little more often.

Yup. Plus red and black with no chrome will look absolutely stunning!

They came factory on my car. I just installed the yellow film over top of them

It was a DIY. I debadged her a while back. I saw the chrome badges lying around and thought I'd try painting it black. Removed the tape from behind. Bought some gloss black spray paint, washed the badged properly, scuffed up the chrome a bit and then rattle canned it. Came out surprisingly well. Even my wife was impressed at how good it looked. Used gorilla tape to stick it back on. I eyed it using an old pic I had with the chrome badges on. Came out well except for the "i" being a little closer to "0" than OEM. But yes. Looks real nice.

And no black wheels yet. I'm looking for something I love but I can't find one.

I'll post a pic of the rear once I wash her later today.

Ask them to do it in Portimao blue itself. Closest color won't cut it. It will look worse than with just the holes showing. I've seen a few cars with mismatched plugs and those looked tacky.
