Can you elaborate on how you swapped in the vertical slats? This is the exact look I'm going for on alpine white but yours is the first I've seen keeping the Cerium grey border. All off the shelf options seem to be either black or carbon fiber border.

Delicately. I began with a chrome/black grill and purchased a cerium

When the grill is off the vehicle, flip it backwards, and place it on a towel or soft flat level…as to not scrap the grill. You’ll see small clips which hold the inner slat section onto the outer grill housing. I used a small flathead screwdriver (a butter knife in a few sections) to slowly pop the clips and separate the sections from one another.

It took only about 15 mins of work.

I’ve also done it now with my G05 X5 as well.

I did exactly the same as 1Bappel but with different parts. I've combined gloss black outer part with cerium grey diamond mesh.
