Anytime I look at the car from behind I notice how narrow the rear tires are.

Anyone know why they couldn't just make the all seasons staggered as well? Just seems stupid.
The 18 inch all seasons can barely handle the 330i's power. Can't imagine how dangerous it must be in the M340i.

Eh.. just means more power slides.

It was actually a mistake on my part when ordering. I thought that by upgrading to the 19s I was automatically getting a staggered setup... didn't realize even the 19 inch all seasons were in a box setup with super narrow tires.

I ordered the G20 and my G05 at around the same time, and the G05 online configurator wasn't out yet for the 2020 model, so I was doing things the old school way, listing out all the option codes to email dealers. In the process I must have neglected some minor details on my G20. Whoops

I got the non staggered all seasons here in South Florida, looks very narrow from the back lol. So much for rushing to buy a car unseen from another state. It Does require more skill to drive hard. Initially it bothered me to the point where I almost bought a new non staggered set of rears to swap out. But wiser thoughts prevailed and since it's a lease, I can cope for the duration. I do plan on swapping out the run flats later this year for Michelins summer tires though. On the bright side, the narrow tires will help enhance my driving control skills.

I haven't taken delivery of mine yet but I'm still debating on whether or not I'll regret not adding the adaptive M suspension. I've read good things on both types in the M340i and had a few ppl tell me standard passive was still great. I decided to add some other goodies instead of adaptive (black mesh grill, rear spoiler, etc).

I technically should still have the option to add adaptive if I so choose. My other reasoning was that if I decide to keep after my lease, I can have the ability to lower on coil overs a little bit easier and for less $.

Hoping I won't regret it.

Wow agree 100% with this; thought I was the only one. Basically no sound until volume is at 80%, and you're thinking this is a bit sh*t, then from 80-100 it all comes together. First couple of days I thought my phone had it's volume set really low and that was influencing it.

It's worth it to (a) play around with, (b) show your mates, and (c) have a nice full column of buttons next to the shifter rather than blanks. Beyond that...

I believe how much value it adds may have a lot to do with ones choice of wheels and tires, and the road conditions they will be regularly driving on (not to mention the climate).

In my case, I ordered AWD + 19" rims and AS run flats, which I'm guessing might be the "hardest" option available. Everything I read indicated that comfort mode + adaptive suspension option would be softer than passive suspension, so whether or not I use it, I decided the ability to switch to the most bump-resilient mode was important to me.

That way even if I choose to drive in sport most of the time, if I find myself on rough or noisy pavement (especially toward the later end of a tire's lifespan), I can hit a button to appease my senses without giving up the stability of tight cornering (since adaptive will tighten when necessary but stay soft otherwise).

For me, just having the ability to press a button to get some relief is worth the $700 upgrade.

Are those the 792 cerium gray wheels? They look completely different in your picture than the online builder.

Trying to decide between those and the black ones that come with the oil cooling package (I want non-runflats but don't want the forced trunk spare!). Online builder the black look better but your picture has me reconsidering. I want to do Dravit (if it's available).

What leather and trim do you have? Mind sharing more pics? Leaning towards Dravit + Mocha + open pore fine wood oak

Ah you know what would be great? On that left side of the dash theres that upwards going crease towards the A pillar, that crease should have stitching, just like the driver side. I think it would make the interior look more quality.

I would keep everything the same on my car except I wouldn't buy the 330i variant. I would buy a M340i in the same spec as my 330i. I just feel like I need more power and I want to be able to tune it to above 450+ hp like my G30.
- Portimao Blue
- Exec Package
- M Sport Package
- Blacked Out Badges, Trims, and Rims
- 20% Tints
The above spec is currently what I have on my 330i. I am already considering buying an M340 in the same spec once my lease on the 330i is over in April of 2022 which is a while. I just feel like this generation of the 3 series is just so perfect in terms of every aspect which is why I'm already considering of buying the higher power variant of it in 2 years as my next car. I also plan on buying the m340 instead of leasing because with this current lease on my 330i, I can't many risks like getting a BM3 flash or a whole exhaust. All I've done is gotten a muffler delete and about to order a JB+.

if you dont want to pay $1500 for the oil cooling package...and want your trunk space back you can always just buy the trunk liner seprately . its like $250. Thats what I plan to do if the smaller trunk space begins to bother me.
