Holy shit Warriors destroyed Memphis last night...they can be really tough to defend when they catch fire like that...

Waiting to see the Heat play a couple more playoff contenders but so far so good, Heat's got a lot of flexibility on their roster at every spot, and Winslow is beast, plays lockdown defense and sees the floor really well on offense

I agree, I don't know if anyone in the West can play with them now.

I've been hoping my Clips could get them, but I can't see it at all in this point in time.

Winning 55 games in the west means no playoffs, however in the east, 500 record gets you the 6th seed.

You mean 45 right? lol. 55 will get you into the playoffs as at least a 6th seed in the west.

The Lakers have them beat for the moment, if not the season.

No surprise Kobe announced his retirement... He should've taken a pay cut to free up money to get some players to help the team, but that would've been an unselfish thing to do, which is contrary to his nature.

GSW are young, athletic, and most scary - have learned how to win games....long term dynasty material.

Kobe is one of the greatest of all time - but his style of play is his own worst enemy. When you can't play at the level you demand of others - he is now on a island of isolation.

The Kincks are now - and will be TURRIBL (Barkley speak) for the foreseeable future. F30lolz - time to come back to reality buddy...

East is as weak as it has ever been. Playoffs should only have the Cav's and the top teams from the West (IMHO).

Standings disagree with you. I think the Bulls can give the Cavs some trouble.

I'll give you the Bulls, and possibly the Heat....but even these two would struggle in the West for anything higher than a 5/6 seed.

If the Warriors played in the water down eastern conference they might've gone 82-0. You see what there doing in the west. Generally speaking, the NBA is pretty much a league filled with bad teams. I enjoy watching GS because there so calm, and cool. Even if there down by double digits. They have some San Antonio in their DNA. You don't see the 6'3 180 lb Curry flopping, or complaining that he was fouled (Lebron, are you listening?) GS is enjoyable to watch. Now my Knicks are better than last year. However, they could run your patience thin. Still, there my team. Go Knicks.

True. Like I said earlier. The best 16 teams make the playoffs. Watching Cleveland beat up on subpar, or below .500 teams is no fun. I'm not a Lebron fan, and its going to be very difficult for him to win several more championships. However, he might take the easy way out again, and join a team with multiple superstars. Like he did by going to Miami.

I think the Raptors are more of a threat than the Heat. The talent is there in Miami, they just haven't put it all together.

I don't like the warriors and I live in the bay
Too many bandwagoners and their fan base is shit , sorry for the language
There is too much showboating for a team that has barely scratched the surface of success
Win 50+ games and make the playoffs for 19 yrs and then you can say your team is a dynasty
Oh and another 4 championships and 5 more finals appearances

At this point the season is irrelevant and this is just Kobe's farewell tour.

Not a bad idea though, Ben Simmons looks like the next Lebron.

The Lakers have been irrelevant the past couple of seasons... Exceedingly painful to watch.
