On my US spec g30 530 with m-sport package there is no sport plus either. If I click sport twice it goes to sport individual just like posters above experienced with the G20
I haven’t tried launch control but the instructions I have read for it just said to put the car in sport mode, transmission to D/s and turn press traction control button once (pressing it puts it in dynamic traction mode holding shuts it off completely). I didn’t think it had to be in sport +. |

It's like Sport with additional sport... but in all seriousness the I haven't tired launch control yet. Apparently I'm supposed to wait 1,200 mi before attempting... then again I'm a BMW driver and laws/rules/user manuals-- they are really just "suggestions"

There’s a coating on the cylinder walls that breaks down at a certain rate. If you exceed the RPM recommendations that coating will break down faster than it’s supposed to and the seals won’t set properly. If you lease your car I guess it doesn’t matter for you but it will for the 2nd owner. In the scheme of things, 1,200 miles really isn’t a long time and even though my car is a lease I chose to adhere to BMWs break in procedure so the next owner can enjoy the car as much as I have with minimal issues |

You *should* be able to code Sport+ in. You could do it on the F30.

Sport and Sport + is the same thing as far as sound and throttle response. There's no need to disconnect DSC on public roads. It's funny when I argue 6MT is more fun I get a 100 responses how everyone and I mean everyone supposedly lives in LA traffic 24/7 and that's why they chose AT and/or don't care that MT is gone. And then the same bunch, come to find out, is driving their 4K Lb sedans with DSC turned off, which is pretty basic safety and doesn't intrude on having fun on a daily commute. Do you disable your ABS brakes too to feel sportier? |

In Europe, it is stated that if you have the sport automatic gearbox, then you should have Launch control and driving experience control, which includes the Sport+ setting.
I understand that sport automatic gearbox can be identified on your car if you have the gear shifting paddles. Kind regards from Denmark |

I have an e36 M3 6mt and a g30 530i which is obviously automatic. Driving the manual in LA traffic is not an issue at all and as soon as the lease on the 530i is up, I’d like to replace it with something manual or just daily the e36 |

that or M2c are top on my list. Don't really need 4 doors, but the M3 Pure will probably have a better interior than the M2c.
Also considering 981 cayman, but I think the M2c is a better balance for daily, my e90 saved my life so I have a bit of an affinity to BMW, and I've had excellent service from the dealers I've interacted with, so I'm leaning towards staying within the BMW family. Plus, I want to do Euro delivery. I've been to Welt just for fun, but taking delivery there and driving around Europe would be an even better experience. |
