Maximum 330e charging rate with granny cable?
What's the highest rate that's advisable to use with the granny cable? Is 13amp ok or is it best to stick with 10amp?

The max rated amperage from a domestic supply in Ireland is a notional 13 amps, but its unlikely anything in normal usage draws that much. If you use the IV=P formula, 13*220=2860W. That's equivalent of almost 29 100W bulbs.
I'd reduce to 10amps max or get an electrician to install a dedicated outdoor socket direct from fuseboard with an RCD. Do not use an extension lead as electrical fires are a real danger in my opinion. |

The cable that comes with the car has a max output of 10A. You can buy a 16A one but make sure your house wiring/electrical box/plugs support it.
If you want 16A in your garage or something I would go for a wallbox honestly it's mote expensive but you coule already future proof with a 7.2kw or higher charger |

There's a €600 SEAI grant available in Ireland to install a home charger, you have to have off street parking though.
I take about 4 hrs to fully charge car from a 3.6Kw home unit also the morning pre-heat is completed with no loss of range. |
