Lane guidance behaving erratically

The lane guidance feature on always cancels out when lane markings as clear as day, and sometimes the car will cancel the lane guidance and swerve the car out of the lane(which is scary) and this makes no sense, I have the lane keeping feature turned off

This hasn't been my experience, mine seems to work very well. Only when the markings start to break up or if there's bad weather will the lane guidance not function.

I gave it a fair trial for a couple of weeks but just couldn't get used to it.

If it is the same setup as my 2018 530e, you have two intervention settings. Turn off the one for lane departure. That made mine behave much better (still don't use it much but it does a much better job now of staying in the lane and not swerving).

Correct, there is steering intervention + steering wheel vibration, or you can turn off the steering intervention all together.

All steering interventions are off, the car doesn’t swerve when assisted driving is working as intended it swerves when the assisted driving cancels it self, I wonder if lane deprt warning makes a difference set to off or reduced

I had to turn my lane intervention off as in Western PA we have lots of hills and winding roads. For some reason going over small rolling hills the darn thing would get confused and send me to the left into the other lane. scary when there is a car there. So it went bye bye. Only use it on long trips on the highway.
