Active Driving Assistant Plus on a 2021?

I was fiddling w/ my 2021's adaptive cruise; the HUD said "driving assistant plus activated - see notice" (I couldn't find the notice).

Which is weird because Active Driving Assistant Plus didn't debut until 2022 models, according to BMW's website.

Was there a software update that added it to older cars? My car has the 5SAS extended traffic jam assist.

The speed didn't drop to below 40mph on the highway so I couldn't test to see if hands free works.

I will say whatever the 2021 has, it is pretty damn good - it drove 40 miles on a chaotic highway (101 between SF and SJ) pretty much by itself with just my hand resting lightly on the wheel.
