My first time at Thunderhill this past weekend with GGC CCA.
Modifications: Dinan intake Dinan Strut bars AA Catted downpipe M perf exhaust Dinan springs (w/out bump stops) Dinan monoballs 791M wheels with square 235/40/19 PS4S (technically my winter wheel setup while I wait for my apex wheels to be shipped) Macht Schnell Spacers - 12mm F / 15mm R Motul brake fluid Motul oil 5W-40 Redline water wetter Hawk HPS 5.0 brake pads Comments: car can use more grip via wider tires/wheels, front camber plates, and coil overs. But overall the car handles quite well for being a suitable DD + Weekend warrior. This is my 7th track day and I am impressed with how well the car handles considering it’s weight and comparing it to a G80 I tracked at M Performance School. Obviously the G80 stock was superior in every way, however the M340i still puts a smile on my face and performs well, in my opinion with my limited track experience. ****No heat soaking issues what so ever in all my track days ranging in ambient temperature 44 - 88 deg F*****

For being my daily driver, it’s pretty mediocre but it gets the job done. I’m on Dinan springs and Supra wheels on Pilot Super Sports.

Yup, looking to potentially get Dinan strut bars. I don’t want to spend too much more on this platform for a track car since there’s better purposed cars for it. Looking at getting a GR86 and building that

I see the GR86 dominating the track every single time. Great choice!
