BMW Watches

I've been looking at Ball watches for a while because of their tritium tube lume technology which will provide consistent night brightness through the hours of darkness. Recently I came across Ball watches bearing the BMW logo and found out they teamed up to produce automatic watches. At any rate I received it a few weeks ago but never had an opportunity to have it sized until yesterday. I've been wearing it since. I really do like the all night consistency of the lume. It's no Rolex in terms of build quality (50m depth rating versus minimal Rolex 100m for example). On the other hand it's got a nice BMW logo on the front, back and crown of the watch. It also comes with something called Amortiser which is supposed to help reduce the effects of impact on it. Here's a quick shot taken this morning.

Curious if any one else has any co branded BMW watches of any sort?

Ball's discussion is below...

Its a nice looking watch but the BMW logo is out of place. I personally wouldn't spend my money on that.

OK! For me, I've wanted a tritium tube automatic from Ball for a while; this does the job the BMW logo sold me on it. I doubt you'd spend your money on any of my watches.

It's funny how different watches meet individual's needs. Since I've already got a Daytona, a GMT, and a Day-Date, a simple date only is all I wanted. Didn't really want the added expense or complexity of another Chronograph.

I thought for sure it was going to be those novelty BWM watches they sell at the dealership but they turned out to be real nice Ball watches.

Girrard-Perregaux make great watches; I'd love to see a BMW branded one.
