We're not disputing what the system is supposed to have per HK, just that M340's are being delivered without some of those components. If you see my post above, I looked at all the inventory at Pacific BMW in LA and none of their M340's had the sail panel tweeters on the HiFi models. It's clearly a supply issue but BMW needs to be straight about it.

Not sure if it proves anything, but I just checked the inventory at BMW of Santa Maria in CA and their single M340i has the tweeters (note a previous comment of mine that the M340i's had no tweeters). All of the 330i's and 330e's also have tweeters in the pics, but I had not seen any of those models that lacked the tweeters. Perchance the issue is resolved?

I have a 2021 M340ix with the Base Hifi Sound System and it Rocks !!!! It is very clear and full of Bass. It just does not get as loud as the HK system but it’s loud enough !!!
And I have had many custom sound systems in the past so I know what good sound sounds like.
Oh, and I have 10 speakers with tweeters in doors.

Just got my M340i with standard HiFi.. coming from two generations of HK. And I'm an audio lover. The speakers are not...terrible. They're okay. At times even pretty decent. Definitely not great though. But survivable.. for now.

Hopefully they break in and sound better. Just got the car last Friday.
