This is most definitely a bug regardless of what is causing the issue

Yes I used bimmercode to fix this after OTA update to 11/2020.50.

Anyone know if this is fixed in 03.2021? I got the OTA upgrade, but weirdly it seemed to have kept some of my coding such as Advanced Driving View and M logo. I still dont see the tach on the HUD in sport mode.

Thx for letting me know. This is so strange. How hard is it for them to fix this?

Hi,

I think they had new menu as “Additional Displays” and thats why old sport display menu doesnt work.

Not sure what fixed it, but I just took my car to the dealer for scheduled maintenance and it came back fixed. I checked to see if they updated the firmware and it doesn't look like they did. They did mention I had two open recalls that they took care of. Both of them were software related, but had to do with emissions not the HUD.

Hello everyone, on my G20 I also updated the software to the latest version 03/2021 but the sports displays are still not shown. Has anyone solved the problem in an "official" way (without going to encode with bimmercode) ??
