Rear Camera Issue

Posted this in the Idrive forum but no response as yet so wondered if anyone on here has any ideas.

Anyone else experienced any problems with the reversing camera?

Yesterday I noticed mine had a blue tint and only on the rear camera. Today when reversing the blue tint has gone but when reversing close to something I no longer get the overhead view looking down at the rear of the car.

Looks like it’s faulty, but you could try rebooting the iDrive by pushing the volume button in until the screen goes blank?

Thanks tried that and didn't fix the issue.

Going to see if the latest update fixes it but if not back in BMW again.

Looks to be a rear camera issue. I don't think it's a software issue.

While you’re on,

Do you have any issues with night use? Mines really dark - to the point I can’t see anything. Occasionally it will increase in brightness as if the ISO has been increased, but then dims back down again.
