Do you like your AA catted DP

I ordered AA catted DP for m440gc. Was curious if anyone running this and how they like it?

I have it paired with my stock exhaust and love it.

It definitely helps to have someone assist but it can be done alone.

Here's a good video:

From the YouTube videos I have seen of others doing it in their garages, it doesn’t seem that hard at all. I’ve installed catback exhausts that look harder to do 👍

jpowers36 Beat me to it but that’s the video I recommend. I plan on buying one for my M340ix in a couple months.

I think you’ll be alright as long as you have the tools and some ramps to get the car up in the air for clearance. Like with everything else, take your time, don’t rush and let us know how it went 👍👍

Thank you fellas. I saw that video. The only concern is that I will have a brace on m440, wonder if that will get in way

Do you remove the airbox to do the job? If so you'll have to pull the brace anyway.

Intake remains in place and does not require removal.

I love it on my X3 m40i. Was not a very big change in sound inside but very noticeable outside. Installed it myself, very easy to do, if not mistaken you will only need 13mm socket and 7/8in (possibly 22mm will work too) wrench to remove o2 sensors. Hardest part was getting old downpipe out, took me a while, but once out it was 15 min job to install new one.

I have the AA with the AWE resonated touring exhaust and love it! You may have spent more money, but the AA is definitely worth it.

I'm all about mine. Car is a hoot and people are blown away how great the car sounds with just bolt ons. Couple snafus when installing, but it was all user error and easily resolved. Installed along with the AA DP is the Dinan exhaust and intake.

How do you like the AA DP with Dinan exhaust combo? I’m looking at getting the two. Which would you suggest getting first?
