Great car congrats!! Nicely cleaned This is truly unique build.. Excellence package!

Let's see the specs:
Laser lights++,
Advanced Driver Assistance Package++
Walkanappa Leather Dash++
M-Adaptive Suspension++

Loaded indeed! Thumbs up, way up! Not many at the dealerships with M340 + M-Adaptive Suspension + Walkanappa Leather Dash

Did you get the M Enhanced Track Package? Any reason you didn't consider the High-Gloss Black Kidney Grille w/Extended Contents?

I do have one request, is your front driver's side window and front passenger side window double planed glass? I'm wondering if the m340i is more insulated compared to the 330?

Thanks! None of the dealers had anything close to what I wanted so I did a custom build and had to wait.

I did consider the black grille and other black pieces, but I didn't love the look on white (looks really good on darker colours in my opinion).

I got the track package as well (love the larger brakes!). The only option I didn't go for but I wanted was the Fiona Red merino leather. It would have added an additional 4-8 weeks to my build, so I went with the Cognac vernasca. I actually really like the colour and quality surprisingly.

Your car looks absolutely stunning!
I have to say though that I’m so pleased that in Europe we don’t have to have those hideous orange reflectors on the front wings

I suppose you guys in North America can get away with smaller number plates or none at all on the front in some states/Province’s? unlike here so swings and roundabouts eh?

Here in California we don't get that type of weather. That looks amazing and I'm sure being in it is a different story though lol. A stunning view, and beautiful neighborhood. Great pic.

Thanks! With winter tires on it, it's actually A LOT of fun to drive around on these backroads that haven't been plowed (not awesome for my morning commute but that's a whole other story). X-Drive is as good as Quattro in my opinion, and with G20 being rear bias it's fun in the snow while also being a confident performer.

Being Canadian you would think I'm use to the snow (or like it) but quite the contrary. I hate winter...like HATE it. I lived for many years in North Carolina and I found that to be a very balanced climate.

For us in CA we tend to like snow because we don't see it much, but I know living in it must be a whole different story. How do you take care of the vehicle since I know the salt on the roads tends to rust the undercarriage and can affect other areas too? Or is that usually after years of exposure?

The roads are only snow covered after its been snowing. The rest of the season they are dry (it's just cold). That's why I prefer to get "performance winter tires" so there isn't much of a change in handling and performance. It's funny because although there's a lot of salt on the road, my car is probably cleaner more in the winter than it is in the summer. I usually get a few touchless washes throughout the week, and then get it hand washed every two weeks. Never really been concerned about rust since I don't keep cars for that long, and they are for the most part built to withstand this type of environment (heck they are German vehicles so they know cold/snow there lol).

I know all about cold winters and snow up here in MN. Won't ever get another black vehicle as long as I'm living in this state.

Keep telling myself I'm going to move so I can buy RWD cars only but the fiancé says we need more reasons to move other than just for the sake of purchasing different vehicles

Seriously considering opening my own touch less car wash in the twin cities area. There's only 2-3 in the entire metro area and the lines are absurd during the few warm days we get between Dec-Feb

Yup! Moved to NC when I was younger but moved back to Toronto around highschool age (many many years ago). I loved it there, but home always draws you back...regardless of how cold it gets lol.

Rims are removed so the calipers can be cleaned and ceramic coated! Need the easy brake dust cleaning.

It is a shame that it's only 4 pistons for the size.

I know! Although 6 piston would be overkill for these cars in my opinion.

Lol to me, the BMW 4 pot LOOK just as big though. Just not as noticeable in blue vs the Audi red.

Just barely! Weather sucks (as you know) so I haven't been pushing it. Can't wait to get the summer rims and tires on!
