Am I missing something. I can't get DKP to recognize on my '24 440i.
I have a S23 Ultra with UWB activated but I only see NFC as available connections on MyBMW App.

Have you got the LCI that just came out? I believe that does have Digital Key Plus else you’re stuck with Digital Key.

You guys are lucky to have any sort of DK - majority of markets do not get any sniff of DK, although it's been prominently advertised by BMW and sales reps.

I have the LCI 24 M340 here in US with wireless charging pad option as default, we only got regular digital key, not plus

So even though BMW says '24 4-series with iDrive 8 has DKP it doesn't?
Gee thanks BMW.

It is kinda annoying to have to pull my phone out and try to get the NFC to work on the door then have to put the phone in the charge pad to start the car. I know first world problems.

BMW is really prioritizing the SUVs and CUVs when it comes to features and tech.

The sedans and coupes are treated like 2nd class citizens

The app prompts me to add a DK but it looks absolutely useless to me. DKP would be nice but nope...

blue_seather - have you tried adding it? MyBMW app had always displayed the prompt, but if you try setting it up it tells your device is not supported(at least with Samsung). I am not sure about Apple and Pixel(not officially sold here) devices. Also - if you have UWB, both device(Apple, Sam Ultra series and Pixel PRO) and car(HU5) - in theory you should have DK+ .

The G20 Pre/LCI is still based on SP18 and just don´t have the technology for Digital Key Plus!
Maybe, but a big maybe, the so called LCI2 will get a technology upgrade and maybe support the DKP.

Could be worse. 2020 Models initially came with Digital Key but it was later discontinued.
