I currently have a golf GTE But expecting my 330e in a couple of months. The range reduces if you have your hvac on or your heated mirrors. Also weather dependant. The electric range figures quoted by BMW include regen miles gained whilst braking during your 26 miles in full electric.

All dependent on weather and your driving style / roads you are using.

25/6 miles is about the best I have seen on full charge, but driving on full electric mode and taking it steady I get circa 20 miles most journeys..

I didn’t think the mfr quoted figures included the regen miles.

25 is good and about right for winter. I had a work trip to Dorset from the Midlands. Looong journey so I had some fun on the way down and back. Mpg wasn’t great but I started with a full charge and got 46 mpg and 52 miles electric, it was a 290 miles round trip. So chuffed with that. The acceleration in sport model is fantastic.

Deceptively quick in Sport mode with the Xtraboost. Had a blast out a while back with some mates and wasn't holding anyone up. They were in a new Alpina B5 and M4 Comp although it was a bit slippery so we weren't going crazy.

I had every option ticked back in 2015 when ordering it (M Sport Plus), so there is a good chance that it was included in one of the packs? The government donated £5k back then so it was open season on the extras 👍🏻

My G20 330e is M Sport Plus. Can't say if it wouldn't come on a Sport or Lux or what the range options are now 🤷🏻*♂️

Apart from the obvious benefits to jumping into a nicely conditioned cabin, is there any benefits to the car? Some suggest in cold temperatures, preconditioning assists in battery condition/range and prepares the car for setting off.

Cant see anything in the owners manual to suggest its necessary for the benefit of the car, and if anything assume it significantly reduces battery range. (although do struggle with the "online"/PDF manuals so may be missing something!)

from what ive been reading, largely this is for people who have their cars connected to the charger, it takes that power to pre-condition the cabin. i guess if it isnt connected, youre right, it would reduce mileage/battery.

however, they say that the battery running at optimum temperature is beneficial to running of the car.

can you tell me where its parked so i can permanently "take a look" at it? haha. you sound like you have a top car. i do think its largely to do with the hardware on the pro-nav though, most SE's and M Sports only have standard nav's e.g. M Sport : https://www.cargiant.co.uk/car/bmw/330e/VX67XSC

vs M Sport with Pro Nav:
