Max rim width
Good day forum!
I recently purchased a M340i and am now looking at possible wheel options. This is my first BMW (migrated over from multiple Subaru STi's) and am trying to see what my options are for wheel sizes. I was wondering if there is a max rim width that the car can handle without bumping into any suspension parts (I understand that it may depend on the offset). Specifically, the wheel size I'm looking at is 10.5" wide for a 20" rim. I believe the offset is 42. Anyone at all run rims this wide? I'd probably put them on a 295 wide tire. Thanks in advance for any feedback! |

Yea I did see that in one of the other threads. Maybe I'll just ask him how much room he has left between the tire and the suspension.
