Has anyone used a tuning company in the metro Detroit area and had a good experience? Anyone I should stay away from?

I'm looking at doing the basics of a stage 2 tune. (Downpipe, intake and charge pipe, but probably not exhaust.) The idea is to get to around/over 300bhp at the wheels.

While I'm willing to DIY some things, I like the idea of having someone who knows what they're doing actually do the flash. I'd also like someone else to install the downpipe if I go that route (and I probably will).

Very late reply, but I have used both Steve’s European Automotive and VAST Performance. The former did an off the shelf APR tune on my old VW Golf Sportwagen, and the latter did a custom tune and turbo install. Both are fantastic.

I now have a 2021 330e that I bring to VAST for service. They are, of course, unable to unlock the ECU being that it’s a 2021+ car.

I wouldn’t hesitate to give them a call and see what they can do for you - they work on all matter of German machinery.
