I’m scheduled to go pick up my 330i in about 2 hours. I approved the build order on 7/21, and it’s been at the dealership since Friday (9/3) so 44 days total. If it hadn’t been a holiday weekend I would have been driving it already but they didn’t finish PDI until yesterday!

Has anyone received a delivery recently processed through NYPOA (Port of NY / NJ)? My 330i has been completed for 2 weeks, so I’m hoping to get on a ship soon.

BUT, the only carrier I can find that goes Veracruz to Newark (NJ) is Kline and all the Newark stops on the schedule are marked “SKIP”. Is that the correct route for the SLP plant to New York Port?

Thanks for the info. Great protection with the PPF. Car looks incredible. Tanzanite is gorgeous in the sun.

My 330i went into production right when they said it would (sept 6, build week 36) but now it’s stuck on Final Assembly for maybe a week. Concerned that it’s waiting for a chip. But at this point I imagine it’s too late for them to change the build since the car has actually been made.

UPDATE: Almost by magic, it went from Final Assembly to Ready for Transport, so I guess it's all good on my end.

I'm most likely cancelling my order because I don't have a car and Im really in need of one. Do you think its better I wait for this spec or just get one from the lot. Still gonna get a 22 340i rwd but just not the spec I want
spec was- Dravit Grey 22 M340i, red callipers, sensatech perf red interior, Shadowline.

If you can find one on a lot that you're happy with, why not? But good luck with that. There's not much out there. I wouldn't cancel my order until/unless I found something else, otherwise, you might end up waiting even longer.

Yes, but that's a costly proposition. We're down to one car while waiting and looked into renting. The cost is way too high. In the meantime we have no car payment and are saving some $$$.

Ya there isnt, I love the dravit grey but theres an alpine white with black interiors. I like the subtle look of that car but idk if i wanna give up the red interior with the dravit

My m440i convertible went into production July 4th and arrived in the US on Sept 1st. In between, the car sat in "Quality Check" for weeks waiting on parts.

On Sept 3rd, the VPC started the work order to resolve the stop sale / install the audio module -- the last remaining part. The car has been in this state for eight days with no change.

I visited my dealer in Massachusetts to finalize the purchase etc and he showed me a list of his customers' 4-series convertibles in the same state at the VPC in New Jersey. There were five in the same state just for this one dealer.

So... wondering if this will be resolved next week. Should only be another day or two to get to me once the work order is complete. I'm betting there are hundreds of cars in the same state at the VPCs...

My 330i was completed around 8/26, has been “Ready for Transport” since 8/27. Hopefully some movement soon. Which port does your order sheet show?

the genius i was talking to on friday didnt know wtf she was talking about a train or what not......

so the car still at the factory in ready for transport status... looks like they dont have space at the port thats why they havent moved it..... this rep did say that there was a good chance that sometime this week it could moved to the port.

so gotta keep waiting
