Does anyone have rear door sills on their 330i, 330e, or 340i? I'm wondering if they forgot to install them in my car.

Also, I have the wireless charging pad, which adds the digital key back in but no physical digital key was given. I wonder if they forgot this too.

The digital key means you can use your phone as a key. But you should have a little credit card key as well sitting in the charging tray.

I submitted an order for a 2023 M340i X-drive on 7/22 with a production number. Status is 111 and remains that way. What is the normal lag time before a production date is set with VIN inside MyBMW?

You got a production number the same day you ordered?

Yes, the dealer printed it and it shows on MyBMW. It was a dealer allocation.

I'll drive back up to Oregon tomorrow, get my car Monday, drive back to SoCal Tuesday or Wednesday!

I have an allocation as well but it doesnt start production until september. They said I wont be able to track it until then. Is that weird?

Geez, 25 days? i bought a car that had been produced and has been at the port in Germany since july 23. I guess that means there could be some more time. You would think that BMW at least has an idea of vessels coming into the port that these cars will be loaded on....where is your car headed? My review of vessels heading in that direction (i could be 1000% wrong) leads me to guess that the vessel Themis is making its way to Bramerhaven and will hopefully load up and be in ny by August 18th (it is currently making its way north through close European ports. Just wish they provided a little more detail. This vessel's schedule shows departing Germany on 8/7 and arriving NY 8/18????? fingers crossed.

My port of entry will be Baltimore and there is currently a vessel in Bremerhaven scheduled to leave 8/3, and one arriving on 8/9. If it's on neither of those ships, the next ship going to Baltimore won't arrive in Bremerhaven until 8/25. I've started negotiating for cars already in the US, as I'm not going to pay higher interest rates for an exterior color I ordered, when I'd be just as happy with 4-5 other colors.

Mentioned above that the 330e I ordered moved from QC to Final Assembly today. All along, the prodDate (webpage, F12) was 06/29. Today it switched to 08/01. I didn't expect that. Did anyone else see their prodDate value change after the QC step?

Mine reverted from "In Transit" to "At the Port". I was tracking it on the Goliath Leader as it sailed up the west coast and pulled into Port Hueneme yesterday. I'm guessing one gets the "At the Port" status once it arrives at the port of departure in Mexico, then the "In Transit" status when its on the ocean transport, then back to "At the Port" when delivered to the VPC, and lastly "In Transit" again when it gets on a truck on its way to the dealership. Should be just a few more days for mine.

Car has been sitting at Awaiting Carrier Transport for over a moth. Genius doesn't know where it is, SA contacted port but got no update from them. Other cars of similar spec and even 2023 MY have been delivered already but still waiting to see mine flip over to In Transit
