Chrome grille changed to black

My problem with the grille is that it comes too high and "overlaps" the bonnet. I always think the grille should be beneath the bonnet. The M240i for example has a grille that sits beneath the bonnet and it looks fine, even in extended shadowline.

How do you know which type you need for your vehicle?

It depends if you got the 360 cameras option or not. The front camera is mounted in the middle of the grill.

Bought from eBay, circa £80 its dual purpose
I.e if you need the camera hole you simply take that additional part out and replace with camera already installed
If you dont have the camera simply leave in the part
It looks fine, you wouldn't even know

Do you have a picture of the grill fitted without the camera in there ? I was gifted a grill with the camera hole however my car doesn't have the package and I don't want to return this grill since I already have it in my possessions. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance

Centre bottom of grill, this where the camera would be if you had one, as i dont, it comes with a fitment cover to fill hole. Would never notice it, unless you were looking for it

Just had a gloss black one delivered, a bit nervous of giving it a go myself although the videos make it look doable. There’s always that one bit in a video that gets hidden by the filmmaker that you think hmmm, that looks important
