I literally thought the same thing .. but in my mind I said .. crap. The 3 series has outgrown me ...

I do like the lowered look on this car. The front end I am still trying to get used to. The dark color shows off the body lines better than the white examples I have seen. It looks decent from the rear and actually great from the side.

Except from the side it looks like it HAS to be a 5 series. It's sooooooo long. But it's not. It's the vehicle formerly known as the 3 series ..

Welcome to BMW since E90..
I think you mean every 3 series since they lowered the rear arches on the LCI e30 (to accommodate the convertible)!

To solve the issue with my Eibachs on my e30 weekender, I run stock m-tech rear springs and Eibach fronts to give me the rake I want. Spring rates work out fine - the car handles well.

Quite liking the G20 with H&Rs - they always seem to hit the sweet spot for any generation of lowered 3 series!

The 70s are long gone my friend. 4cyl turbos, hybrids and electric are the future.

yeah unfortunately, and it looks like BMW is not making a 328d on the new chasis so they might abandon diesel all toeghter in the US like Mercedes is doing. Jaguar is the only manufacturer still making a good selection of diesels. However , i am not too fond of Jaguar styling, so i hope BMW doesn't give up on the oil burners.

Shame it doesn't fix the Audi A4 rear end or those hideous front grilles.

The feeling is also accentuated by the lower than normal rear wheel well - it's noticeable on the M5, 8er and recently on the 3 series.

Don't know why BMW does this with the new models, they had such great designs for the rear fenders/wheel wells.

Looks good, but are all H&R springs not made for M adaptive shocks?

It's called "for handling"

All corner balanced cars look like this.

Want a "3" purchase a "2". What's with this bigger being better thing? It's not.
