I’m getting a 63k MSRP M340xi for $601 a month after putting down 7 MSDs. $0 down aside from that though. Something is very wrong...

This appears to be a terrible deal, but you'll need to post the specific in order to diagnose it. For the record, I have a '17 F30 340xi with a $64k MSRP and the 36/10 lease with $0 cap reduction comes to under $550/mo before MA sales tax. Residuals and MF are similar to today's figures (MF was a little lower in '17). This would have been about $575 or so at 12k miles. I used MSDs to lower the effective MF.

Don’t let the dealer dictate the deal. Know the numbers and you make the offer. You must know the money factor. The dealer is allowed to mark it up by .0004, which is just under a 1% apr increase. Do not put money down. Use that money for Multiple Security Deposits to lower the money factor. Negotiate the selling price just as you would with a purchase.

I'm paying right around ~$500 for an M340 with 2k due at signing. 62k msrp. F that. Go to another dealer for sure. If you're in Cali I can hook you up with a broker that will do one for just over $300 a month. I had the same thing happen when I started looking. Spent all day at a dealership trying to get a 330 loaner under $500 a month on a lease and they wouldn't do it. Then we found a broker that at the time was dealing them for $280, new. Looks like his prices went up a bit though.

That's a pretty good deal. Although I know a broker now that has several with a 58k msrp going for $440! 12k a year 2k DAS + 7 MSDs.

Maybe check leasehackr? I could check if mine in Cali will ship. Probably isn't more than 1k to ship. For me he got the dealer to cover $400 to ship to NorCal.

Horrible deal man.... don't walk away, run away...
Try a broker, that's what I did. I'm in SoCal and I know people say there's so many dealers here and it's easier to get good deals but either I'm not good at negotiating, or no one wanted to give me a good deal since I was having a hard time even getting 10% off MSRP pre-incentives (they'd still call throughout the week giving me shit deals). Ended up going thru a broker and got the best deal so try that. |

Ok so I got some stuff mixed up and left out, I have a 17 340ix that’s going back in 5 months, it’s already already over 10k miles, and I gave the car to my mom she came from a 16 328x her lease ended a couple months ago, and I got a m340x, the problem is she hates driving the 340 and would rather pay the penalties and get rid of the car now. So apparently 600$ a month includes 5 months of payments discounted. For reference I was 593$ a month for my 340.
