While I don't necessary hate the way they look (would prefer double LED projectors from an aesthetic standpoint), I don't think they look as good. Having seen plenty of LCI X5's on the road now - the DRL's have zero pop to them. In a side-by-side comparison between the two headlights it's obvious which one is more premium. BMW's move in this direction is clearly a cost-cutting measure.

I'd like to add, before I'm painted with the broad 'jealous pre-LCI owner' brush, that my intent is to get another G80 in '27 regardless of the headlight situation.

I just had to cancel my m3 order because the dealer ordered the wrong color and said it's too late to change it. so now I'm stuck with the cheap looking headlights
