Aluminum tetragon or whatever it is. Looks better in person than I expected but both my order and my dealers order showed the correct order code. It was BMW who messed it up

That sucks. What were you supposed to get? I don't mind the aluminum tetragonal trim, but I would much rather have the open pore oak that I ordered.

Yeah I ordered the black open pore oak trim. Thinking I may just get the MP carbon fiber trim. Looked at pricing for it tho and it's pretty absurd

The MP carbon fiber trim does look pretty awesome, but I hear you on the cost.

I have black sensatec so I specifically went for a younger sportier looking aluminum tetragon on purpose. If I had lighter leather, I would have definitely gone with a classier open pore look

I didn’t want to get black interior and black trim since I already have that with my X1. It becomes too dark. I wanted a bit of contrast. Actually anything but piano black. That thing is an abomination for someone like me who has pretty bad OCD for cleanliness.

Interesting point. I ordered the Black SensaTec as well, but went with the open pore oak trim. I didn't think about it, but my interior will be black on black on black... Oh well, I think it'll still look good.

I will be honest with you. You cant go wrong with it. I literally like every option from a looks standpoint. Just not piano black from a function/cleanliness stand point. I even like orange exterior on G20. I dont have the balls to pull it off myself but I enjoy seeing it on other people’s cars.

My cars used to be black on black on black but I started liking sone contrasting colors whether it d be my kitchen or my outfits.

Tetragon isnt for everyone but I liked the sporty look of it for 3 series. I would never go with it for something like X5 or 530 which I believe look more like family options

i got the aluminum mesh. Its kind of plain, but I had the tetragon on an f30 and wanted to go with a different one. Some year I'll finally talk myself out of my metal trim ways into some wood
