Agree. 10% before incentives can be done. I am working with a CA to order one today.

Well I can get 11% off MSRP from my dealer, there's no incentive since I don't qualify for non bmw owner. 11% off includes dealer rebate only available at this particular dealer. Should I order?

If you're financing or leasing that's probably the BMW incentive disguised as a dealer incentive

First time leaser here. How exactly do you position this to dealers?

For example, I have the Corporate Sales Program through my employer, right now 3-series are $2,750 off. Do these incentives not hurt the dealership? Ie why not just ask for 13% off MSRP straight up, or are are there other factors in play?

Actually this rebate is not for financing it only applies if purchased without financing.

best i've been able to do is 10% WITH incentives (have 340i 2016 about to go back)

i'm not paying 38% more a month for a m340i, going to have to be 10% PLUS incentives or i'll get something else.

I had a lease worksheet prepared this week, and asked for a revision yesterday, so I can let you know if that changed for mine. But I haven't heard of MF's changing in the middle of a month, since this is a core component to the monthly leasing programs is the MF (which are released/finalized usually on the 1st of each month).

Then walk away to a different dealer. Or try working with a dealer out of state and giving their lease worksheet to the one you're working with so they'll match.

I suspect it's because it's "a new model" and needs a few months to chill.

I am thinking of holding out for a Demo I ran the numbers and need at least 12% before incentives for a $60k MSRP to be around $600 with drive offs rolled in. Don't feel comfortable paying more than that for a non M.

YMMV by your local market, but plenty of folks have gotten 10%+ off new builds/inventory already.

This doesn't make any sense. A MF hike barely 9 days into the month of May. Do you have this in writing

Im curious about the MF change as well, but I'm skeptical it changed at all, definitely keep us posted.

The MF has not changed. It's the same as it has been all month.

As we all figured.

Sounds like the dealer is just playing games.

Thanks for clearing that up Jason , it sounded sketch to begin with.

Yes, I have this in writing from BMW of Annapolis. I was told that the MF on the 2020 340xdrive is .00217. This corresponds to an interest rate of 5.2% which is the current prime interest rate. I have a credit score of 804.

Time for a new dealer. I see you are in the DC area. PM me if you want a better recommendation.

Where do I get confirmation on the MF rate? Seems as though this is a standard rate that does not change frequently. Other than your sales associate, how do you find this information?

It's not posted explicitly anywhere. You basically have to rely on places like these forums. It's possible to also reverse engineer/confirm the MF by reading the fine print on BWMUSA's lease and finance offers section.

You can get the MF along with residual at the edmunds forums.
