Say what you want but the new grill design is horrendous and completely obliterated the classic design BMW is known for

Even if the performance ends up being the best on the market, exterior look is just as important and at the cars price point, I'd have no problems moving to any of BMW's rivals

If it looked like this I would have easily bought it! I despise these large grilles on the 4, 7, and X7.

Damn, the Bimmers are just getting bigger, uglier and 'plastic-ier' and, frankly, cheap looking.

The M4 Coupe looks like a Shelby GT350 with all the cheap bling and plastic distractions. . . except the Shelby 'looks' acceptable.

BMW has truly lost their way. The nail in the coffin is that they cannot even get their iconic 'kidney grill' right . . . looks freaking hideous.

BMW is driving up owner retention value of their older models by simply producing newer ones.

It's looking pretty good...
You guys must be lying to yourselves. The front end looks just as bad as it did before.

Its a new era , when they will be released , our cars will seemed to be old fashioned , and 15 year old !! The evolution of the f80 to the g80 is much more than the evolution of e36 to e90 !
Doesn't matter when it looks shite, can't wait for clarksons review on this

Not everyone is smiling. Some people will like it. Some people will not. Remains to be seen where the majority will lie.
That is true, but the response this time around is more positive than previous threads.
Lol, BMW is slowly convincing people to deal with their shitty design. BMW is definitely is doing it right!

Look, this obviously just BMW appealing to their enthusiasts and loyal costumers...

By making them hold onto their current generation cars since this one is so horrid

Its better than the previous render but...it doesn't leave me wanting to rush and buy one which is more of a disappointment.

Agree 1000%. Not only is the grille hideous but the weight gain of this car is not going to be pretty. Plus no DCT. The only reason someone would want this is because it is cheaper than a 911. Would not want to look at that grille in my garage.

While not completely sold on the grills YET, I can comfortably say that I'm sure they'll grow on me (as they have on the front of all new BMW's )

I think what's more funny is the fact that there are still people in this thread in denial that the grilles will be as BMW presented them.

Like the front, can't make sense of the side profile yet, but rear is bad especially or because of the taillights....
