Is cutting fender lines essential for running 15 front spacers in Pzero or is heating

I’d like to avoid cutting fins and risk debris passing through. But then again, how bad could it be? What issues could arise?

There are threads on this topic but I have 12.5mm and about a 20mm drop with Pirelli’s and haven’t noticed any rubbing.

with PZEROs and 13mm spacers on the fronts, MY G80 CS would rub in reverse with not a lot of wheel turn. forward was no problem.

I had 10mm spacers in front with Pirellis, and they rub in reverse. The RWD is different from the xDrive, as the RWD steering rack is 15:1 while the xDrive rack is 14.7:1. So, the xDrive has a slightly different sweep area, which causes it to rub a little more in reverse than the RWD cars.

I’ve also recently (as in this week,) cut the slats out and installed the screens. Much better in my opinion, which together with that and $2.00 may get you a cup of coffee.

13mm square figment, looks great.

Cutting the fins is super simple and you can install a grate over it to avoid debris getting passed through. Just go that route.

Looks incredible. May I ask where you got the laser tails from? I don’t want to buy them from untested suppliers as tail lights going off can cause bad accidents.
Also are there certain grates / screens to get, or do you go to a car shop and they’ll hook you up? Do you buy them from Amazon and them have them fitted by a car shop?

No need to worry about if they are an untested supplier or not, because they are the new 2025 LCi OEM tail lights that are coming factory installed on the 2025 G22 and G82, on every car. 1/4 of the price of OEM CSL tail lights.

I just started a thread on them, recently. Check out out. https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2089380

Also, on the fender screens, I bought these. In my opionion, they are the same thing as the places selling them for more money. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32568...Cquery_from%3A

I am lowered with 15mm on all corners and have Pzero’s. I heated mine and have zero issues full lock in either direction.
