Windscreen Scratches
Now we are starting to see the sun again, this highlights the slight scratches and marks on my windscreen. Any proven tips on removing these. TIA.

I've had nothing but problems with scratches on my 330e windscreen since I bought it new. I've had one windscreen replacement due to a large arc scratch (with a significant dealer contribution (>500 euro), which was very fair of them).
I have had additional scratches polished out at a detailers. He is very reasonable with his hourly rate (~50 euro p/hr). But since my last visit as soon as I used the wipers more scratches appeared. I try not to use the wipers and I try to keep the windscreen clean. I'm not sure how easy it would be to do yourself without a machine polisher. Will be changing my car at the end of the year, thinking of going back to Mercedes tbh. |

Carpro Ceriglass is an excellent kit for removing scratches. Used it many times. Hard work mind, but perfectly possible by hand. Comes with a polishing block for that very purpose

Generally, treat the glass like paint. Wash, decontaminate, clay, polish, protect.

I tend to use Angelwax H2go as a sealant. Provides a good coating and you can use the wipers less as water beads off readily once up to speed |

Thank you
Is Angelwax easier to apply than the likes of Rain-X? I've tried that a few times and it just seems to smear and make visibility worse. |

Never tried Rain X personally, but Angelwax is easy enough. I apply it with a small applicator sponge in small circles. The trick is to leave it to bond for 15 mins or so and then give it a good buffing to ensure there's no residue. Takes a while but worth the effort as lasts ages

I used some of that H2Go from Angelwax and stuck some on quick snap, so not the best application and it has been glorious so far! Must be even better when done properly

Yes I just got some of that as I thought I had glass cleaner in the boot, but must've left it out somewhere after cleaning last time, so now have the Angelwax trio of Vision, H2Go and Clarity! So FU rain!
