Alpine White Stains
Has anyone had "stains" appear in their G20 alpine white bumper? Looks like it came from underneath the paint itself….

The yellow-brown splats? Looks like bug guts…..try spraying with 1:10 spray of wash and water, with a clay bar

Thanks, I tried… took the car to a detailer who told me that the whole thing has to be stripped down and repainted 😞

That's unfortunate, but it looks like a wipe of bug/tar remover would get it off. At the very most compound/polish. Can you feel it or is it completely smooth?

That's so odd. This might be a weird question, but do you have PPF on the car's front end? I was just zooming in on your parking sensors, and it looked like it had ppf on it.

I had several coats of ceramic polish, (to protect against bugs)….for almost 3 yrs no issues, bugs wiped right off with a damp cloth!

Try a compound/polish. There's no way this stained through your clearcoat...I feel it did, you would feel the etching from it.

Still not sure….I really believe it's coming from beneath my clear coat.
Since day one after each and every drive I wiped the car down especially the bugs on the front. Took it to a reputable body shop / detailing company and was told it will have to be stripped and completely redone 😣 My OCD will just have to bear it…😞

In those days, there were mobile body shops, and one came to my house to fix it in the garage. I saw him take out a grinder to and proceeded to grind around the area. I was sitting on the steps in the garage rocking back and forth in panic as I listened to the grinder. You know what? The guy did a fantastic job. Had the car from May 13-Dec 17 and no one ever knew it was there. He did a perfect job that lasted all those years. I feel for you.
