so just to mess around with us, they cut up an X7 grill and rotated them 90 degrees.

It's like a reverse mullet:

Party in the front and business in the back.

Very bold and unique design. You'll know it's an M3/M4 from a mile away; my only complaint with the current gen M3/M4 styling is the lack of differentiation.

I'll pass though. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Can't say anything, will wait for Bmw Release.
But some how this design looks Sissy...just like Audi's. It doesn't have that X factor.

A huge change. Possibly the most drastic design shift since the transition from E30 to E36.
I think it's great. Way more character than before. You would know this is a Bimmer from a mile.
You will know it's a Bimmer from 2 miles with that grill.

pretty upset that they would allow such a change away from tradition, period.

Front: a BMW M2 that wanted to be an Alfa but settled with an Audi
Rear: a Lexus that wanted to be a Type R but settled with current gen X3M /X4M bumper

hope this design is a joke lol
i mean, we already know the powertrain and all, so it's already 50% disappointment, but don't make it worse

Guys it looks like BMW has some 3d printed applique on various parts that they use to fool prying eyes. There is no way they would make that monstrosity.
Look at the marked areas. Clearly something added to the nose.

I'm sure the grill will piss off everyone anyways, we know that it will be large and vertical no matter what
