They are following the latest trend from social media mobile apps (Instagram, TikTok, Periscope, Snapchat...) that are increasingly designed to be viewed vertically even for videos. Do you think it's a mistake that they started the reveal at the rear? The front monstrosity doesn't make an appearance until the 4 minute mark. Shows zero confidence in this new design language. These will be far less forgiving then the Bangle years.

What I find out of place, is the air in takes surrounding the large kidney grills, why have them since the Kidney grills are now covering all of the front center section, in my opinion this is what makes the front so busy with no sence of direction or finess.
