Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic G20 3 Series

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Update: Added first pic posted by Scott26

I recently placed an order for a 330i in Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic. I have never seen it on an actual car, only colour samples at the dealership.

I'm not sure if I'm choosing the right colour. Any one have seen it?

Below are the samples.

The sample looks similar to Atlantic Blue that my wife’s E93 has but the pic Scott26 posted looks darker. It might just be the lighting.

SCOTT26 does it look anything like Atlantic Blue.

Looks like it would be a classic beauty with something like Cognac interior. With black, it might just become very drab, IMHO.

Indeed. Needs an earth-tone interior color and then it would be stunning. Overall, I really like this color. Reminds me of a blue-ish green color on an e90 that I've seen around town. That same car has a lighter brown colored interior (forgive me, I'm not well-versed in e90 colors) and whenever I see it, I think, "Damn. Why don't they make them like that today?"

I say you've made a great call. Anything is better than Portimau Blue.

That is indeed the kind of interior color they put on the Blue Ridge Mountain demo car in the 8 series brochure.

I'm actually thinking Blue Ridge Mountain + Mocha + Oak grain. What do you guys think?

I tried both on the bmwusa.com build function and wound up preferring Cognac for a more striking contrast....Mocha was too dark for my eyes.

havenyoung ,

Even though it was an "Individual" color for M340, I went for it and chose Cognac interior with Maple open pore trim (Oak was a little too dark for)

No available on M sport. Not going with M sport trim, too expensive for me. Most of the people going for M sport are choosing portimao blue.

yeah, i'm still debating if i want a m sport or sport line. If I go sports line I'd probabyl think about this color or mediterranean blue.... I had an m-sport before, and honestly the front end look I'm a bit over (i mean really its overly aggressive for a car that has exactly the same engine etc).

Just need to test drive the normal model and m-sport to see how different the suspension is.

I believe it's a lot of Barcelona Blue in that brochure. I don't see a Blue ridge...

You might be right. There is no daylight photo...very hard to tell with the reflection. The brochure itself is themed in blue ridge mountain though.

Love it!

"I'm actually thinking Blue Ridge Mountain + Mocha + Oak grain. What do you guys think?"

Nice choice. I love my saddle interior and think it would go better with the blue...but I might be biased. Oak it perfect.

Add me to the list of folks frustrated/confused by the differences in options available to EU/US customers.

Enjoy!

Generally, I like it.

Not quite my ideal blue, I personally like it a little more rich and vibrant. But I do like it.

I agree with TheVik would look great with a tan saddle leather.

Hmmm. Seems to have a bit of grey, too. I like it.

Not completely won over yet, but remove the silly side graphics and this G20 is best looking so far.
