Mine moved to "In Transit" as soon as it boarded the ship to the US.

For people in Europe, can you track as well the process ?

I just asked my dealer to get the VIN in order to have more info. He is not really keen at the moment to share info with me. I have the feeling that's easier for you in the US to have details...

Asian Majesty just arrived at the Bayonne port.

Hoping for a quick turnaround at the VPC even though I got a few accessories that need to be installed. Ideally looking to take delivery next week.

NYC_340i, if you haven't done the annual tour of the Bayonne VDC with BMW CCA I'd highly recommend it, it's quite an operation.

Drive Green Highway is sitting at the bottom of the Chesapeake, presumably waiting for an open spot up in Baltimore? Then its off to new Brunswick and then Charleston (est. 11/8) where my baby will be dropped off for shipment to the Performance Center.

Mine did as well, I tried to call the Genius line but they said it looked like it was still at the port in Bremerhaven. It was at the port for 10 days before switching to in transit so I assume it is on a ship at this point and they just cant see which one.

I think that may be your ship because you are in the DC area. Im outside of Philadelphia, my Vehicle Inquiry Report from the dealer shows NYCPOA as Port loc. So Im pretty sure itll be going there not Baltimore.

It looks like the Tomar is going straight to Baltimore and not stopping in NYC. It does seem weird that both of our statuses changed at the same time though. Maybe multiple ships left Bremerhaven at the same time.

Guys, when you order the aluminum interior trim, it's a default trim right? It's just not showing anywhere what trim my car is being build.

Yup, I've also tried there... Doesn't show interior trim lol.
I was told by my Sales that the aluminum trim is default... Just want to make sure lol.

That's super weird lol. Even when I don't add a single option in the builder, it still at least shows the aluminum tetragon trim (which also means it's default, so you SHOULD be good).

Spoke to the Genius line today.

They said my car isnt even on the boat yet. Just being wrapped to get on a boat... Thats depressing because it shows in transit on Mygarage for 3 days now. I dont understand why it would update to that status if it wasnt moving yet...

Anyone else had that experience?

You have to keep in mind, the online tracker isn't 100% accurate. There's quite a bit of variability. My 3 series tracking was relatively accurate, but my X5 was wildly inaccurate. So I wouldn't use it as an exact day by day update, more of a directional ballpark estimate of where your car is.

Good news is once your car is loaded on to the boat, you have multiple ways of tracking the exact location of the boat.
