This is my wife's 2023 M340i that we ordered in October 2022 and picked up in early January 2023.

Received her back from paint correction, PPF and tint this past week.

Also, did some artwork for her as a little surprise and something she can hang in her office.

Have some M-Performance 898M "Frozen Gunmetal" wheels on order that should arrive sometime in mid March.

Actually just received shipping confirmation for the 898M wheels this morning. They probably won't go on til late April being that we're in Wisconsin.

Thanks. Have to do the PPF...We both commute on the highway everyday and just get pelted with salt and stones, etc.

The 3 series cars seem to move pretty quickly through assembly and shipping. My M550i sat at port for a while…I ordered my 550 on the first day of summer 6/21/22 and received it on 9/22/22.

I wouldn’t be surprised if your updates by two or three stages all at once. Our M340 went for waiting to transport to shipped all at once.

Similar spec car arriving next month and I’m on the fence about getting a track pack or fill ppf

We did a partial Kavaca self-healing wrap on the M340i...so everything from the sideview mirrors forward. Just received in the new M-Performance 898M wheels last week.

Nice car, and good choice on OEM wheels but I see you replacing them...

Is this new normal now for people to spend 6k USD+ or whatever on getting car paint corrected and PPFed - even if it is brand new?!

It’s not that much, but getting it done when it’s brand new is the optimal time to do it. The paint correction rids the car of all imperfections and micro scratches (even when new). The PPF protects the vehicle from road debris and mild impacts (which happens every day on both of our commutes) and the ceramic locks in the perfect looking paint (like a hard candy shell) for many years if taken care of properly. To answer your question; yes it’s becoming a lot more prevalent nowadays.

Those wheels are so nice! I wish they didn't cost so much. I also wish you can just spec your car with them as an option.

Having tires and OEM TPMS sensors mounted to the 898M wheels tomorrow.

My wife also wanted the steering wheel to have the matching "50 Years of M badge" so everything cohesive.

They're the same specs as the OEM staggered setup, however they are approximately 7 lbs lighter on each corner. Take that with a grain of salt because I'm not sure if the scale I used was completely accurate.
