My new M340i is being trucked from Nova Scotia to Ontario

Wow. They must be so eager to get my 435 as a CPO. They actually truck my new m340 directly from Halifax.

My car arrived last Sunday 17th. I was checking LHF website for fun today and Boom! They have my record! I am surprised af as I thought the car is waiting for CN rail.

I thought only ED cars get that according to the thread here. Does it mean hassen already pick it up and on the road? Or just scheduled? 11/28 is 100% an overly conservative estimate . 2-3 days max.

If the truck has already hit the road, I can probably pick up my m340 this Saturday. If not, early next week.

I am in Toronto Canada btw.

Sounds like they're just trying to use the strike as an excuse to pay you less on the trade.

The trade price is set. Contract was signed 3 months ago.

I would check the fine print on that one. If you got into an accident while you were waiting, there would be diminished value. Same goes with mileage usually. If you decided to drive to Florida and back ten times before you traded it in, I'm sure they would not be keeping the same trade in offer.

I drove 3000 km in 3 months. I don't think it is much at all

My point is that trade in values are usually not "set". They are typically subject to adjustment. Obviously you have low mileage over the 3 months so no need to worry.

I was confused that you said, dealer can decrease my trade value by using strike as an excuse . It has nothing to do with me. I dont know how they can do that. I drove very little km this year. 7708 to date. I don't think I am gonna break 9500 this year

I only said that because you said the dealer was too afraid that your mileage would be too high if they waited for the CN strike to end. So I assumed that you were driving high mileage based on the comment.

I'm trying to get confirmation from my dealer as mine is expected to arrive in Halifax any day now. I want to know if there is going to be any delays as a result of the strike.

It may. If dealer has no incentive to pay for the truck.

The incentive for them to use a truck like in your situation, is that I'm going to walk away from the deal if it's delayed (luckily I had language inserted into the sale agreement that allows me to walk free and clear if it's not delivered by Dec 31).

You can do that? Wow. I am expecting mine next week. Any interest to meet ? I got every options except for ZTK and smoker pkg. I opt for full merino leather too. Where did you buy yours? I am with Parkview.

For sure I would meet up! I'm in the west end GTA (Milton) so I got mine from Grand River BMW. I got every option as well including ZTK but not the smoker's package and I stayed with the vernasca leather (I should have opted for merino but I really liked the cognac colour and saddle brown is the closest in the merino but I wasn't a fan).

Exactly! I'm actually buying it through a friend that works for Audi/VW but has ties with Grand River BMW

Dealer wanted to force ZTK on me for wanting 791m black wheel. I didn't budge. 374mm brake is too full for 19 IMO and I have to use 19 for winter too. Expensive af. Lol. 20'inch is better for 374mm caliper

I was the opposite lol I had the dealer triple check that my build actually came with the ZTK package, because it wasn't very clear on the build sheet (it was listed as the "technology package"). This was confusing, but they eventually updated their package codes and added that it was the "M Enhanced Track Pack".

I probably won't track it much. Really not cost effective. I really glad I finally get merino though. Not impressed with the old dakota now rebranded as venasca leather.
