Glad to hear it works as expected, other than no audible warning. I guess the data knows the one near me is decommissioned and that’s why it doesn’t show.

I found this on the HERE Tech website

"The service, BMW Traffic Camera Information, provides BMW owners with timely, relevant and accurate driving information. The alerts are powered by the HERE Safety Cameras product which identifies permanent traffic camera locations and the positions of mobile traffic cameras, based on automated sensor data from Cedar Electronics.

The information is integrated on the HERE platform and delivered seamlessly to BMW vehicles with the service enabled. The service is included as a 3-month trial on MY 2021 vehicles with Live Cockpit Professional equipment (SA6U3), starting with July 2020 production. Customers can purchase an annual subscription after the trial period. Customers with older vehicle models, produced since July 2019 with iDrive Operating System 7 and Live Cockpit Professional (SA6U3), can also confirm availability for their model and purchase this service via the ConnectedDrive store."

Interestingly it also mentions mobile traffic cameras.

I was never offered a trial either at time of signing up to ConnectedDrive services when I got the car in March or when purchasing on the website last week.

I am hoping BMW will update the software and allow an audible warning. The HUD display is quite vivid and starts 0.25miles from the camera and counts down in feet if you have that set as your units. It was very accurate on the M25/M23.

I have previously done all that.
Still appears in instrument cluster.
Axeman and I both have 330i s . Don’t know why that should make
a difference.
My car is a March 2019.

Shame none of us were offered the free trial. Perhaps we jumped too soon.

One observation round here is that it also triggers on some of the red light cameras, but it still shows the warning graphic as speed cameras, unlike Waze which is able to differentiate between the two.

Having said that, more and more of the red light cameras seem to be being upgraded to speed too, to catch people who race through a junction when they see the lights start to change.

Mine works when selected on the HUD but resets the next time a switch the car off abs displays in the cockpit view again!

Same here for me. I have ensured all the relevant boxes are ticked, including to display in HUD. Everything else comes up, route guidance, speed, adaptive cruise etc, No speed camera warning.

It does come up in the speedo display.

This 330e is so bloody annoying

This, it's in ROUTE WARNINGS you need to change to HUD.

I don't seem to have that option. As far as I can see I don't have a route warnings option where you guys seem to have one? Images attached of what I have & my software version. The amount of problems I have with this car is unbelievable.

Can anyone tell me if i am just missing the option, or am i looking in the wrong place?

Off Topic- Every time I set my Adaptive cruise Control I get an error message telling me the below. Just so frustrating nothing works properly on a new vehicle. I am started to sound like an old man now!!

Thanks Will, cheers for the help. So looks like I have a newer software version than you, .57, but there is no route guidance option? I assume the higher the . after 2020 the newer the version?

I just don't have that route guidance option...

You also have Distance information and Additional Displays, Automatic - I assume these are for adaptive cruise.

A wild left field suggestion, have you got reduced view unchecked in route guidance options

Axeman,

I can confirm the box is unchecked as your picture above. I put everything on the car, it has:- Comfort Access, Driving assistant professional, BMW laserlights, parking assistance plus, Visibility pack, Tech pack, premium pack, comfort pack.

Has anyone else got the same issue as me & do they have adaptive cruise? Starting to think its related to that. I have had a few issues relating to the adaptive cruise option, including the 'driver assistance affected' warning I now receive when i activate it.

Thanks everyone for the help, I will leave it now, displaying in the speedo is not the end of the world after all.

I wonder if anyone else has the same latest software as me and has same issue? Such a shame this car is riddled with so many software related bugs.

I have DAP and don’t have the problem.

I did notice that I found the option to display route warnings in the HUD or not in two different places in the menus. But I suspect they both just mirror each other.
