Was watching Tesla 3 review on YouTube last night, it's like riding (not driving) a laptop. If that's where BMW is going you won't even have an e-brake in a couple of years
BMW is not going in that direction, especially considering all of the GXX cars are lighter and more driver-oriented than FXX and cars. On the side, technology and refinement is added to the mix, which has always been the case, and which is not a bad thing at all.

E-brake is not needed with Auto was my point. I never used it on any of my Auto cars and they never rolled away. So for the SanFran and other hilly areas e-brake is fine. Now for the manual is another story, but BMW won't make 6MT anymore

Jesus how did a thread titled "Dashboard and HUD" derail into your auto vs manual schtick?

I must fascinate you, 32 posts since 2005 and you decide to comment on my posts - Thank you.

I was merely commenting on someone saying that he hated e-brake and I said that you don't need a real handbrake with Auto-only cars

You don't NEED a real handbrake with manual transmission cars either.

Not really, I'm only posting due to the new G20 and you're detracting by threadjacking in almost every major thread.

I do like the X5 dash and hope this is the one on the 3 and 4 series, I am so not into the 5 series one, so thinking for the 1st time going for the 3 instead or the GC 4! do like the position of the Start switch.
