Sadly Melbourne Red is no longer available with the M-Sport Package (along with Mineral Silver and Melbourne Blue) according to the Euro Configurator. M340i could possibly have it, but I doubt it.

Seems like never at this point. While BMW's ventilated seats suck, it makes no sense why this doesn't have it, yet shares similar seats with the X3 that does have it. Every competitor at this point has it, Lexus, Audi, Merc, even Genesis, hell even a Mazda 6 and Elantra, I don't know why the 3er doesn't.

So CarPlay is an option that requires the premium package AND requires a yearly subscription fee along with that? Seems a bit much. I thought they were going to include it for all cars and you could choose whether or not to pay for it.

Wireless charging is $500. Geez. I guess this shouldn't be too surprising especially for the first year.

On another note, it looks like the non runflat tires are only available with the track package which requires adaptive suspension. Bummer. The only way to get the LSD and M Sport Brakes are by ordering the track handling package. Again, I assume this is only for the first year run. A real THP should come with passive dampers, IMO.

I thought the engine was the B48... four cylinder modular engine tech. The pricing guide says B46.

The CarPlay subscription thing is the biggest absurdity in bmws portfolio right now.... it's being cheap for the sake of being cheap.... it's fast becoming a consumer expectation for it to be included standard. Think about it this way they had the engineering cost for integrating it and then increased their costs engineering the remotely managed subscription.

Basically the same engine. I believe all BMWs (30 series cars) use the B46 engine in America.

Thanks for the Post, very informative! But for the interior per the production video, I thought the standard interior was leather sides with alcantera center? not full leather..

well m-sport includes convenience package it looks like. Even has a sensatec dashboard.

I love that the m-sport pack comes with any choice of 19" wheel, but at least has 1 choice with non runflats (though that has mandatory track pack).

I can't imagine the m340i being any less than lows 50s though. its basically a 330i with m-sport and the track handling package, and the better engine. thats $7450 in options on the 330i + whatever the engine costs (it is basically 5-6k on the F30 for identical 330i and 340i cars non m-sport)

So lets call it $12-13k more. $53k seems about right.

I feel like i'm going at least a 330i + m-sport + nav/live cockpit + park distance control. Somewhat reasonable at only $47k or so. Which is basically what I had on my f30. Gets pricey adding exec, premium, leather, and more. time to start saving pennies.

Something is not quite right on this pricing guide.

ZDY - Driving Assistance Professional Package requires ZDA and ZPP
ZDA - Driving Assistance Package cannot be ordered with ZCV
ZPP - The Premium Package requires requires ZCV
ZCV - The Convenience Package cannot be ordered with ZDA

All of that is in conflict with each other!

This all assume a non M-Sport car.

Not sure if I am reading this wrong, but it mentions that ZMP (M Sport) requires ordering ZTR (Track Handling Package) is this already included under the $5000 for M Sport? Otherwise its another $2450!

So I thought that was the case but if you read the ZMP M sport listing from the order guide it contains every option from the ZCV convince package except ZN1 active blind spot detection

I would guess very soon? Within the next few weeks if not sooner.

On that note does anyone know when we can place an order with dealerships?
