Turn signal lens replacement on a lease

Random question, has anyone replaced the turn signal lenses on your BMW when leasing & then switched them back when returning?

I plan on leasing the M340i soon, was wondering if I can get rid of the big yellow ones by the front wheel wells.

I turned in my 328 lease last week. Alpine white. I had a body shop paint the side mirror housings black for a more aggressive look. Additional mods included Painted side reflectors, trunk spoiler, & black kidney grills... anyway- they received the car with these mods with no questions asked.

It depends on the model. They are different, as I heard. Anything like this or other?
