Any chance someone knows if the trunk release button can be disabled on the driver door? Older models use to have a switch in the glove but that doesn’t seem to be here in the G20. I could use Valet Mode but that is a hassle.

I believe valet mode is meant to replace the old switch.

Why not just put valet mode as one of your shortcuts on the shortcut keypad?

Why disable trunk open button

Regardless of having cameras and a relatively safe neighborhood, my cars have been a target in my neighborhood for some reason. If someone does a smash and grab, I’d rather them not have access to the trunk. I like to leave my golf clubs and other stuff in the trunk, if possible. I might have to just program valet as a shortcut but disabling the switch is much faster. I had that disable feature in my last Acura.

The button is in a terrible place somehow I accidentally hit it at a stop light a couple times bc I put a water bottle in my door cup holder
